Can you envision a calling on your life to go to a foreign country where the language is different, some people live in remote villages only accessible by walking, and life is like going back in time? This is the calling that God has placed on our lives. Our mission is to, with the enabling power of God, to share the love of Jesus with the lost, and to help people of Latin America to have a better life in Christ Jesus. With God, ALL things are possible. Sure, Costa Rica has some nice beaches and good weather, but it also has people that do not know the Christian life that we enjoy. So that we can be most effective in Bible School teaching and preaching, we will be developing our Spanish language skills. We are asking for your prayers and support!. One of the things we do not plan to do is sit around. We will be doing ministry and showing God's love to his children. We would like to pray for you also! There is power in prayer, and by being a covenant partner with us, we make a covenant with you to pray for you every single day of the year. We also need you praying for us every day of the year. As you may know, when you are doing God's work, the enemy comes against you like never before. It may just be your prayers that helps to overcome! So, you do not have to go into all the world to preach the gospel--just be a part of our ministry and we do the "going" for you!
Our ministry involves making a difference in the lives of the people of Costa Rica. God is giving us a vision in the following areas::
· First, we share the gospel with the lost. This involves preaching, teaching, and just sharing. We will be helping them in their Christian walk.
· Second, we plan to work with local pastors to set up a Bible School to train others to preach the gospel. We will then work with the new pastors to help them establish churches throughout Costa Rica.
· Third, we plan to work with another missionary in Latin America to help oversee several bible schools in Central and South America.
As you can see, we have some busy times ahead doing the work of our Lord. We are so excited about this opportunity to serve Him. We hope you want to be a part of it. By partnering together, we can make a difference, and you can be part of a ministry in a foreign land without leaving the comfort of your home!
