/content/ministries/indians_of_talamanca_The mountains of Talamanca are home to many indians who are native to Costa Rica.  They live a very isolated life, living far away from roads or transportation.  While some no Spanish, many know only their native language.  Their only income in many instances is to live off of the land. As part of our ministry, we are helping to build and equip the church among the Talamancans.  Many are coming to know Christ, but have little.  We are providing bibles to them, which they have not had.  We are also going to a mission site, accessible only by 4 wheel drive in the dry season, to help train church leaders and provide bible education to the people.  Conditions are  very primitive, including no electricity.  Water is obtained from fresh springs flowing out of the mountains.
